Scoggin addressed a captive audience of Christos family and friends during their first annual Christos Christmas Concert. “I want to thank every mom and dad who has believed in this school you are all founders of this school. You took a step of faith and believing in this school when it was just a promise on a brochure you are creating something that’s going to last for generations. We are so very grateful to serve these children who will become great-hearted young men and women who serve the Lord for generations,” said Scoggin moments before announcing the new campus.
The concert for both Phoenix and Gilbert campuses was held at the First Southern Baptist Church in Scottsdale by design, as it will serve as the site for the new campus. “Tonight, you were sitting in the third location for Great Hearts Christos,” said Scoggin with a smile on his face. “Great Hearts Christos Scottsdale, our third campus to join our other two beautiful campuses, will start here next year!” The announcement was met with applause from everyone attending.
Christos Academies are a separate, faith-based, non-profit, private school arm of the Great Hearts organization committed to creating and offering the best ecumenical Christian academies in the country. Because they are private schools, the Christos Academies’ programs can, and do, integrate Christ-centered faith formation along with the proven classical model that has made Great Hearts academies the national leader in classical education.
