We exist to glorify God by cultivating students who are intellectually, morally, and spiritually free. We believe a Christian Classical education uniquely integrates faith and reason to know reality.
We strive for students to love: • Christ, with all their heart and mind • Their parents, the first teachers • Living virtuously in community • Holy Scripture
We believe the Lord desires well-educated men and women who have developed the habits of mind and heart of which they are ordered to what is True, Good, and Beautiful and by which they are able to carry on His work. Educating is an act of love and ennobles human dignity.
There are many approaches to Christian education. The following defines the Great Hearts Christian Academy approach.
Our Christian faith is integrated into the core fabric of each academy: • Classical ethos: Faith-Reason-Learning-Reality integration • Faith programming: morning prayer and age-appropriate Scripture instruction • Statement of Faith • and more...
While we do not require a Christian faith commitment from our students or their parents, we do require parents to acknowledge and to give their consent for their children to be taught accordingly.
Faculty, Staff, and Student expectations for relationships and comportment on campus are governed by our Christian ethos. There are four pillars of relationship in a Christian academy: Modesty, Chastity, Right Speech, Honor.
